Your Role

Ensure that standard operational procedures are properly shared, discussed and fulfilled at branch/department level. Liaise with Pricing Team, Sales team and Operations to ensure competitive and sustainable pricing is provided in regular daily quotes

Your Responsibilities

Business Development and Customer Retention

  • Align with Management on business priorities (yearly, quarterly etc)
  • Monthly monitoring and review of established KPI's (volume development, win ratio, etc.)
  • Weekly monitoring and follow-up on sales pipeline
  • Assist with the preparation of value propositions for key opportunities and RFQ's
  • Support sales team as subject matter expert and participate in joint visits and presentations to customers
  • Liaise with Pricing Team, Sales team and Operations to ensure competitive and sustainable pricing is provided in regular daily quotes
  • Actively lead, coordinate and answer main RFQ's

Operational and Financial excellence

  • Ensure that standard operational procedures are properly shared, discussed and fulfilled at branch/department level
  • Support implementations of new business in conjunction with the area implementation manager
  • Review and plan training needs for LCL operational staff in conjunction with the area implementation and training managers
  • Act as point of escalation for local seafreight management on LCL related challenges
  • Review profitability of both existing customer base and new implemented business to ensure adequate and sustainable level of Gross Profit
  • Coordinate regular business review calls/ meetings with branches and related LCL departments
  • Discuss and align with each branch on resource planning to sustain existing and new business based on productivity levels, customer service and other KPI's

Your Skills and Experiences

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Ideally 5 – 10 years industry experience
  • Customer focused attitude
  • Service and Results oriented mindset
  • Effective communications skills
  • Proven track record of development and leadership roles
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
