Registered Nurse (part-time) - home health assessments

Liberty Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse for an available part-time "Independent Assessor" position.

This is a field-based position which allows for some work from home and also requires travel to client homes throughout Onslow County and Pender County.

As an Independent Assessor with Liberty Healthcare, you would assess clients to help determine their eligibility for Medicaid-funded personal care services. This role is limited to conducing nursing assessments and does not involve direct patient care.

Specific responsibilities will include:

* Working on a part-time basis / 24 hours weekly

* Traveling throughout the local region

* Visiting clients in their homes

* Assessing client's activities of daily living and evaluating client's home environment

* Completing electronic reports related to client's health status, diagnoses, medications and other pertinent factors

As a part-time employee of Liberty Healthcare you can expect:

* An annual compensation of $36,000

* Weekday work schedule (no weekends or evenings)

* Training and mentoring

* Mileage reimbursement

* Future consideration for full-time employment


Well-qualified candidates will possess the following attributes:

* Registered Nurse license in North Carolina

* Residence in Onslow County or Pender County

* Ability to effectively use a laptop and other remote office technology

* Possess a vehicle in good working order and willingness to travel within the local region

* Availability to work approximately 24 hours weekly

* Prior experience in home health, hospice or a similar field-based nursing field is preferred
