Nemours is seeking a Physician Compensation Analyst (FULL-TIME) to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida.

At Nemours, each Associate plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of world-class pediatric care to the children we serve. The team based at our home office in Jacksonville, Fla. provides essential administrative, financial and technical support to Nemours operations across all locations.

Job Duties

The Physician Compensation Analyst will be part of a team and responsible for facilitating data collection, analysis and reporting functions required to support the development, implementation and administration of the physician compensation plans. This position will be involved in generating financial accruals, benchmarking, tracking productivity statistics, and budgeting data required for the compensation models. This position will be cross-trained to be able to perform other related financial and other support functions to provide coverage to other members of the department.

* Development & maintenance of several of the tables used in the physician compensation plans.

* Participating in quarterly update, auditing and distribution of results.

* Development of external reports for participation in compensation surveys.

* Development of internal reporting to respond to requests from operations and staff departments such as accounting, budget, and decision support.

* Development of reliable methods and documentation of plan workflows.

* Assists in analysis of plan results, and identifying opportunities to improve the physician compensation processes.

* Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor.

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in finance, accounting or health administration preferred.

* Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years experience required.

* Minimum of one (1) year experience in healthcare required.

* Self-starter, with strong work ethic, able to adapt to a fast paced, ever changing environment

* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with members of management, physicians and other advanced providers.

* Strategic thinker who can identify and use financial information and business trends to create insight.

* Accuracy and confidentiality, given the sensitive nature of this work.

* Flexible and able to work on a range of projects simultaneously.
