Manual Machinist

This position is fully on-site in Jacksonville FL. You will be working 7am-3:30pm and you have the opportunity to work overtime and earn time and a half. Experience with Turbines is a plus, but not required

Job Responsibilities

• Set up, and operate tools, such as Lathes, Milling, Boring, Grinding.
• Calculate and set machine controls to position spindle in relationship to part and to regulate factors
• Operate machine and machine operation and monitor displays to identify malfunctions
• Understand required machining sequence and use precision measuring tools to measure parts for conformance to blueprint specifications.
• Perform dimensional inspection of various products.

Requirements

• 5+ years Machinist experience
• Experience with Lathes, Milling, Boring, Grinding, etc
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
