Claims Processing Team Lead

Our Client, a Fortune 500 Financial Services Company, is looking for several individuals who are looking for an opportunity to gain experience in a corporate environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a large corporate organization to learn their corporate culture and service lines through an extensive, paid training program.

On a daily basis, this person will do the following:

  • Oversee a team of claims processors
  • Perform administrative duties such as tracking attendance, providing reports to management, etc.
  • Manage the performance of the individuals and assist with mentoring low-production performers
  • Run and analyze reporting
  • Assist in the processing of claims
  • Validate beneficiary information for death claims
  • Read, understand, and apply complex processes, procedures, and contract summaries to a processing scenario
  • Validate contact information
  • Verify the claimant’s information and ensure 100% accuracy
  • Process the cases of the customers and determine beneficiary eligibility
  • Enter the customers contact information into our client’s extensive database
  • Examine files and compare data, such as name, date of birth, address and beneficiary contact information
  • Navigate data through two computer screens and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Meet and exceed our client’s production, attendance, quality and service goals
  • Follow proper client and state regulations to ensure compliance with appropriate guidelines
