As an IT Business Operations Analyst you will work within our Global Information Systems team to assist with vendor management. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with a couple of years of experience with procurement strategies, processes, and procedures.

About the Role:

* In this role, you'll help support CA Technologies charter to transform the IT industry by:

* Assisting with the establishment of IT procurement strategies, processes, and procedures

* Participating in the management of 3rd party partners to maximize operational and service goal achievement.

* Assisting with supplier relationships.

* Resolving and escalating problems and providing vendor performance feedback as necessary

* Supporting the development of templates, Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), business cases, statements of work, etc.

* Monitoring contracts for expiration, mergers, acquisitions, and changes.

* Understanding agreements from a legal and implementation perspective.

* Assisting in the development and implementation of 'Best Practice' for a corporate Vendor Management Office.

* Supporting the design of structured processes for selecting vendors through consistent due diligence and RFP process.

* Gathering vendor performance metrics, scorecards and reports to manage/monitor vendor spend, performance effectiveness, adherence to contractual agreements and to identify cost effective solutions for existing and future contracts.

How You'll Stand Out:

The perfect candidate for this role will have a demonstrated record of success in positions of increasing responsibility over the course of their career. An ideal background will include:

* Typically 2 or more years of experience

* Solid analytical skills and business communication skills

* Excellent MS Excel skills

* Experience working in a matrixed environment interacting with multiple stakeholders

* Bachelor's degree preferred
