Payroll and Timekeeping Director

Put your years of experience into a future of excellence... Northrop Grumman is seeking a Director - Payroll and Timekeeping. This position leads the global payroll and timekeeping function for Northrop Grumman Corporation.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Management oversight of global payroll operations for 85K employees.

* Global Payroll & Time Tracking Process Owner and Operational leader, including process definition, controls, and transaction processing. Ensures compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, FAR regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, and federal, state and international laws.

* Develop a 3-year roadmap for the planning, design, implementation, communication, and delivery of the payroll technology and process improvement projects.

* Leads end-to-end payroll process governance group, including all key internal and external stakeholders.

* Owns supplier relationships for payroll services including contracts, financials, and performance management.

* Manages projects across multi-disciplinary functions of Payroll within allotted time-frames and budgets, including activities arising from M&A.

* Utilizes metrics to measure process performance, drives process discipline, and supports continuous improvement.

* Develops strong partnerships with key stakeholder groups; including HR Business Partners, Finance, Tax, and Treasury.Supports programs for executive compensation, global mobility and international expansion.

* Attract and develop highly qualified payroll professionals and ensures a highly engaged workforce.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 20 years related payroll experience.

* Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience required.

* Experienced in enhancing employee engagement and development.

* Position requires senior leadership level experience and demonstrated ability to successfully manage employees or teams that exceed customer expectations, delivers high quality, and competitive payroll and timekeeping services.

Preferred Qualifications:

* CPP and/or MBA.

* SAP payroll experience in a federal government regulated environment and

* supervisory experience in a shared service environment.

* ADP experience for international payrolls.
