Your Opportunity

Stantec's Irvine, CA office is seeking an experience Land Survey Technician/Surveyor to assist our growing practice. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, you will provide office support, mapping, and calculations in support of various survey tasks and projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

* Research of survey records.

* Boundary analysis and base-mapping.

* Legal description preparation, analysis, and interpretation.

* Preparing instructions and sketches for survey crews.

* Preparing maps, plats, and exhibits.

* Reviewing field notes for completeness and clarity; and other surveying services in support of engineering work.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

* Minimum 1-year experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required.

* Ability to prepare and revise CAD exhibits, including ALTA surveys, subdivision maps, and topographic surveys

* Ability to gather and organize survey research and records

* Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, maps, and documents

* Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to work independently and with a project team

* Experience with Microstation and/or ArcGIS a plus

Education and Experience

5 years experience as a Land Surveyor or Land Survey Technician

LSIT Preffered
