This position will become an integral member of the Finance team responsible for managing Viant’s CRM database system (Salesforce.com) and supporting the company’s U.S. based sales team. The Business Analyst will be a liaison between this team and other departments within the organization, as well as occasional outside consulting and development teams. They will also be responsible for assisting with standard system administration duties, as well as system configuration, and customizations. In addition, this position will be responsible for designing/maintaining reports for senior management and implementing system best practices. This is a hands-on, analytical role in a fast-paced environment requiring the ideal candidate to perform effectively as an individual and as part of a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cross functional role offering administrative support with capacity to lead and drive projects for project and system enhancements
  • Collaborate with business partners, subject matter experts and other team members to define and document business needs and project requirements
  • Conduct meetings and facilitate collaborative discussions to develop requirements and project plans
  • Analyze existing business and system processes and offer recommendations for improvements
  • Plan and execute changed or new business processes within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Oversee and assist with the development and implementation of functional designs and features of SFDC and related internal systems
  • Assist with help desk support for end users
  • Help drive end-user adoption by maintaining documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users within company wiki
  • Support and assist Finance, Sales, Operations & Marketing with ad-hoc reporting and schedules via SFDC and MS Excel
  • Fully understand the business operations/processes underlying current Salesforce implementation and offer solutions to improve functionality

Experience:

  • 4+ years Salesforce.com experience preferred
  • Salesforce.com Certified Administrator required
  • Experience with Lightning, Process Builder and Flow preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong oral/verbal communications skills to clearly present key issues and recommend actions
  • Excellent interpersonal and refined relationship-building skills
  • Motivation, aptitude and presence to interact with and participate in projects with senior management
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, functions, etc.)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments
  • Maintain trust and confidentiality at all times
  • A self-starter who is consistently proactive and uses time efficiently
  • High degree of personal accountability
