Capital Group's North America Distribution Customer Relationship Management team partners with key business leaders in Sales and Marketing on large to medium size project initiatives. The team is responsible to conduct in-depth analysis of current and proposed business operations to deliver process or technology solutions.

The Salesforce Business/Project Analyst will demonstrate an intermediate technical knowledge with basic to intermediate business knowledge and works under the direction of more senior staff on complex projects, analyses and tasks. In addition, you are responsible for eliciting and documenting business requirements from the business units, managing/identifying/evaluating business project risks and potential impediments.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct research and analysis (e.g., gap analysis, impact analysis, cost benefit analysis, financial analysis, statistical analysis, data analysis, risk and return analysis, root cause analysis, problems analysis, system and process mapping) concerning business processes, products, procedures, and goals.

* Provide information, solutions, and options to stated problems to management to help make informed decisions and formulate strategy, considering technical and business process impacts.

* Participate with internal development team to solicit end user requirements, gains understanding of the purposes or goals of various processes, offerings or practices. Ensures full understanding of issues and enhancements that need to be addressed.

* Analyze, elicit and document business needs and requirements.

* Analyze the value of an idea, concept, request or potential project including, defining the scope, objective, and baseline requirements. Communicates and describes findings in business terms to ensure effective understanding and decision making to aid in the proposal process.

* Assist senior management in making informed decisions on business strategy, gaps or improvement opportunities.

* Coordinate user acceptance testing, which may include identifying testers, developing test scripts, and conducting test execution. Must effectively document test issues.

* Ensure solutions accurately deliver the documented business requirements prior to implementation.

* Identify, document and manage project task responsibilities. Includes identification of project risks and coordinating implementation activities, such as training and the documentation of business process changes.

* Provide information on business processes and system functionality. Serves as a knowledge resource to the business and technology areas.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar discipline.

* 3+ years managing projects within the team.

* 2+ years of Salesforce.com analyst/ admin experience required. Salesforce.com Certification is desirable

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint).

* Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and analytical skills in areas of moderate complexity.

* Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills with a diverse group of associates and senior business leaders.
