Field Service Engineer

As a member of Anduril’s Field Service Engineering team you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of some of our most critical products in the field. You will work alongside other Anduril engineers and customers to support field installations, execute repairs in the field, and refurbish and assemble products at the lab.  

Requirements

  • Experience triaging and documenting time-sensitive issues
  • Up to 50% Travel
  • Available  to support 24/7 on-call rotation (on-call for about 1 in 4 weeks with highest activity time between 0800-2300)
  • Experience following and creating processes and documentation
  • Execute hardware installations, repairs and maintenance checks at test sites and customer locations
  • Ability to troubleshoot in the field and in resource-constrained environments
  • Experience following plans for assembly, refurbishment, quality control, and team installation activities
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware systems
  • Strong internal and external (customer) communications
  • Ability to lift and carry 125lbs

Desired Skills

  • Shop skills:
  • - Electrical/electronic skills (soldering, crimping, wiring)
    - Light fabrication with drill press and hand tools
  • QC background
  • Experience with networks and command-line tools: VPN, SSH
  • Prior experience in one or more of the following industries: Military (depending on MOS) Automotive, Aerospace, Wireless Communications or Fiber Optics
