This experienced channel sales professional should be seeking an opportunity to impact the bottom line, growing and developing a strong channel business. A critical part of the Dynabook sales team, you will be responsible for driving business with assigned partners and developing a sustainable sales pipeline to exceed quota. Ability to identify and penetrate new segments, build and maintain sales relationships, create solutions to increase customer satisfaction will lead to increased market share, ensuring your success.

Responsibilities

  • Experience in the mobility space, selling notebooks, accessories and services
  • Channel development and sales with distribution partners, on-line e-tailers and NRO/SMB resellers
  • Identify and develop partner programs supporting Dynabook's business objectives
  • Implement strategies to expand market share with select partners in an assigned territory
  • Create business plans for overall revenue and unit targets, as well as individual product category targets
  • Participate in the design and execution of the go to market strategy with partners and marketing teams.
  • Provide regular and timely updates of pipeline trends with corrective actions and reporting
  • Manage channel and inventory levels
  • Ability to properly position and promote Dynabook notebooks, accessories and tablet products within the individual sales teams at key partners
  • Create visibility and mindshare for Dynabook within all levels from executive to sales at key partner locations
  • Account penetration and growth. Grow your assigned segmentation accounts/teams revenue and units to establish Dynabook as a preferred vendor.
  • Achieve assigned quota for notebooks, accessories and services.
  • Forecast account/channel demand and ensure a sustainable sales pipeline of revenue within targeted key accounts and customers
  • Effectively utilize resources to solve issues and create solutions; manage customer relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Dynabook Management, Marketing, and Product Marketing to continually refine and improve market position; interpret and translate voice of customer data
  • Strong presentation skills, verbal and written, with the ability to successfully influence and persuade technical and non-technical audiences
  • Satisfy all internal reporting requirements, including bid submissions, demo requests, and business/sales activity reports.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience
  • Five (5) years or more of demonstrated quota attainment in the computer hardware and/or software industry, selling directly into enterprise accounts, including a minimum of two years selling for a manufacturer
  • Hunter mentality. Looking for a sales representative that has a passion for growing and developing new business.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve end-user product and service issues
  • Demonstrated ability to listen to the “Voice of the Customer“, applying a consultative selling approach that focuses on partnership and the value proposition.
  • Awareness of computer industry-related issues and the ability to keep current with technological trends
  • Strong presentation skills, verbal and written, with the ability to successfully influence and persuade technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency with full MS Office Suite
  • Up to 50% regional travel is required
