Community Physician Network is actively recruiting a board certified Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Preventative Medicine physician (M.D. or D.O.) specializing in Occupational Medicine to serve as Site Provider Director of Community's MedCheck walk-in clinic in Speedway, on the west side of Indianapolis. Staffed by on-site physicians, advanced practice providers and nurses, MedCheck provides affordable medical care for non-emergency adult and child injury and illnesses.

This position is a full-time role, requiring clinical and administrative capacities. In conjunction with the senior medical director, the site director provides strategic administrative leadership for their site, promotes the advancement of the exceptional patient, provider and employee experience throughout their site, and provides leadership in aligning providers with strategic goals, metrics and priorities. Along with administrative duties at their MedCheck site, the site provider director will have eighty percent (80%) of their working hours dedicated to providing direct patient care in the practice of occupational medicine.

Role Requirements/Qualifications

* Board Certified physician (M.D. or D.O.) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Preventative Medicine with specific interest in Occupational Medicine

* Licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana

* 2-3 years' experience in a clinical practice setting

* Provide direct patient care in the practice of occupational medicine on a routine basis (approximately 80% of FTE)

* A career track or high potential of progressive, increasingly complex administrative roles preferably within a complex, multi-site, integrated health system

* Ability to initiate, support and manage needed change and engage others in change

* Demonstrate the ability to take initiative, to balance and manage multiple projects and priorities

* Help translate the vision and strategic plan into tactical actions to achieve success and help drive a performance-driven culture

* Promote, assist and advance quality initiatives and partner with providers to incorporate standards of care and initiatives

* Disseminate clinically accepted best practices

* Assist in the recruitment, selection, coaching and mentoring of providers at your assigned site of care

* Serve as an approachable voice to help balance provider and organizational perspectives

* Operate all areas of responsibility with strong business ethics and integrity
