Digital Product Marketing - Sr Manager

The Opportunity

Want to work with a global team building the future of online learning? Wiley Efficient Learning (a business unit within John Wiley & Sons) is looking for a Senior Digital Product Marketing Manager to manage two product lines within our portfolio.

You'll have the opportunity to help thousands of students and working professionals achieve their dreams by passing licensing, admissions and other high-stakes professional certification exams (visit to learn more about these products).


For this marketing role, we are seeking an agile, digital-native talent with a great mix of left-right brain mindset that can synthesize various analytical signals into stellar brand and data-driven online campaigns to drive retail and direct purchase of exam preparation products.

As part of a global unit, you would be collaborating with marketers, sales, business development, content, product, UX, IT and other teams in the US, UK, Canada, Singapore, India, China and Australia. Specific responsibilities would include:

Product, Market & Persona Planning (25%)

* Help set goals during the fiscal year planning process

* Competitive analysis, user needs identification, and market segmentation

* Deeply understand the product portfolio, key features, benefits and differentiators

* Value Proposition Design

* Assist with Strategic Planning

* Meet with partner organizations to brainstorm product roadmaps

Marketing Campaign Design and Management (65%)

* Design multi-channel marketing programs to drive direct ecommerce

* Work with colleagues on position products within retail and other channels.

* Management of online advertising including creative development

* SEO planning and content marketing ideation

* Website and offer testing design and execution

* Vendor Management

Partner & Sales Support (15%)

* Brand and marcom management

* Collateral and sell-sheets for global sales teams

* Business reviews and action planning

Analysis and Reporting (10%)

* Segmentation and transactional data analysis

* Reporting on sales and performance of product

* Website traffic and lead source analysis

* UX and Voice of Customer reporting and response planning


* 3-5 years of prior digital marketing experience

* Highly organized, with the ability to switch gears quickly

* Comfortable presenting information to small and large groups

* Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

* Develops collaborative working relationships with and internal/external customers

* Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices

* Experience with both B2B and B2C channels a plus

* Some travel to client meetings and conferences will be required

* BA or BS degree
