COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR

The Compliance Coordinator will help ensure that the company's employees and processes adhere to rules established to meet corporate and regulatory requirements. This role will bring organization and structure to compliance efforts and assist in maintaining employee awareness. The Compliance Coordinator requires high attention to detail, the ability to manage and meet regulatory deadlines, and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. The Compliance Coordinator works with, and reports to, the Compliance Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities

* Coordinates with and ensures all U.S. employees are current in annual HIPAA training and required documents

* Delivers compliance documents and training modules to new hires during onboarding

* Works with Human Resources and other departments in completing employee new hire and termination tasks

* Performs ongoing maintenance and monitoring of HIPAA compliance portal

* Assists with HIPAA Business Associate Agreement process completion with clients and subcontractors and termination tasks

* Oversees the delivery, review, and completion of HIPAA subcontractor Satisfactory Assurance Questionnaires

* Develops written procedures and other documents to support Compliance Department functions

* Stays current on HIPAA compliance objectives and assists in tracking and providing status updates on network risk assessments, employee compliance, policies and procedures, and client or vendor matters

* Completes tasks and conducts research associated with ongoing or special projects related to HIPAA or corporate compliance

* Assists in compliance investigations and resolutions

* Assists in completing and documenting occasional on-site compliance audits (some travel required)

* Assists in implementation and enforcement of HIPAA and Corporate Compliance program policies and procedures

* Assists Compliance Team in developing trainings

* 4 year degree preferred

* Regulatory, corporate compliance, or legal experience a plus
