Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Supplier Quality Analyst for our SEMA program. The Supplier Quality Analyst coordinates with subcontracts management and logistics to ensure the quality of supplier/vendor material and services. Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services. Collaborates with Program Management, Engineering, Maintenance, and Global Supply Chain Subcontracts/Procurement functional management teams to ensure that all procurements meet or exceed the requirements of external and internal customers. Manages implementation and execution of Supplier Assurance processes, including, supplier quality requirements, supplier classification designation (Critical, Key and Standard), source selection evaluations, performs supplier quality audits for AS9100 and supplier performance assessments IAW policy and procedures. Supports the maintenance of the approved supplier list. Evaluates supplier non-conformances, negative performance trends and failures and determines supplier root cause and corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Assures that customer quality-imposed technical requirements are adhered to by supplier and that a quality system is maintained. Conducts programs designed to improve supplier performance, productivity, and process validation. Manages source inspection processes and coordinates with customers as required. Utilizes supplier performance data bases and supplier quality management system assessment tools to provide objective evidence of supplier's capability to perform. Monitors quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities, and maintains feedback loops. Keeps management apprised of supplier performance, quality status and risks. Position requires technical and quality expertise and the ability to plan and perform with minimal management direction.
This position will be located in Huntsville, AL.
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Experience using SAP
- Aerospace and Defense Supplier quality management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action
- Procurement process knowledge with an understanding of supplier flow down and product material verification
- Knowledge of aircraft systems, components and maintenance concepts
- AS9100 Auditor or Lead Auditor Training
