JOB DESCRIPTION:

SAIC is currently looking to hire a Sr. Sys Admin to join our ITSS team here in Huntsville, AL.

This candidate will perform System Administration duties as required to maintain functional operation of multi-user computer systems and networks consisting of physical and virtual machines running on VMware and Oracle.

Responsibilities Include:

• VMware, network and SAN configuration and monitoring.
• SCAP / STIG systems in accordance with DoD RMF guidelines.
• Incident resolution at a tier III level.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of Linux and general UNIX operating systems concepts as well as systems administration experience.
• Ability to create and maintain Information Assurance (IA) compliance documentation of Information Systems and networks.
• Ability to develop and maintain documentation on system administration procedures for routine and complex tasks.
• CompTIA Security certification required
• Interim Secret clearance required to start
