Role & Responsibilities

TheEmployee Services Assistant will work independently under the supervision ofthe Payroll Manager and provide a consistently high-level of customer servicewhile maintaining a high-level attention to detail in completing assignedtasks.

* Process new hires, employee data changes, and terminations in the HRIS and payroll systems

* Assist with entering payable items or corrections into bi-weekly payroll batches

* Review payroll reports to provide feedback to Team Lead for corrections or changes before payroll is processed

* Respond to issue tickets sent by Managers and Employees

* Processes check adjustments, voids, manual check updates, reissues, overpayments and other irregular payroll transactions, setting up garnishments.

* Validates data is accurate in both HRIS and Payroll systems

* Assist with transition of HRIS and payroll system to new cloud based platform (Oracle Fusion and ADP Vantage)

* Assist with transition of new payroll and time and labor processes.

* Completes other projects and special assignments as requested

* Keep up to date on relevant payroll and HR company policies and procedures

* Provide other general administrative support to the department as needed

Qualifications

* High School Diploma, or equivalent GED

* A minimum of 3 years' relevant HR and/or Payroll experience

* Proficiency with MS Office skills including Word and Excel, including using pivot tables and vlookups highly desirable

Knowledge, Abilities & Skills

* Accurate and detail-oriented, deadline-driven

* Customer service mentality

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to communicate by telephone, e-mail, and face-to-face
