Commercial Renewals & Retention Specialist – Inbound Sales

Job Functions

  • Make continuous outbound calls to renew and retain existing customers
  • Make continuous outbound calls for any win-back campaigns
  • Generate referrals from existing customers
  • Take inbound phone sales calls and convert them into successful sales
  • Overcome customer objections and diligent follow-up on any customer questions
  • Ensure that all necessary customer documents are accurately completed and all over-the –phone sales guidelines are followed
  • Exceed defined goals of volume and margins
  • Prepare and maintain reports on all activities mentioned above

Qualifications

  • Bilingual preferred but not required (proficient English/Spanish)
  • Excellent “closing“ phone skills
  • Excellent negotiation and follow-up skills
  • Able to answer questions about the different products
  • Able to analyze customer’s invoices and show them the savings by switching to our company
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
  • Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers
  • Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
  • 1-2 years of outbound and inbound phone sales experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of deregulated retail electricity market preferred
  • Should be able to navigate Salesforce and CRM.
  • Good computer skills with a knowledge of Excel
