SUMMARY

Provides concierge style customer service to premier clients for all post-closing loan servicing needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provides high level customer service to borrowers and brokers.

* Works with various departments in loan servicing to meet client needs.

* Offers "white glove" treatment to premier borrowers as a single point of contact for any post-closing needs for the life of the loan.

* Supports customer service department in processing audit confirmations for serviced loans.

* Assists in the preparation of recommendations for lender consent items such as: special requests, loan assumptions and numerous other real estate related issues.

* Completes special projects as required.

* Tracks major loan events such as: interest-only expiration, repair requirements, loan maturity and reserve draws.

* Reviews closing documents and system setup for new loans and delivers welcome packets for premier borrower loans.

* Monitors communication with client to ensure requests are performed in a timely manner.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Basic understanding of the mortgage banking industry, with the ability to gain an understanding of the responsibilities of various departments in a mortgage banking and loan servicing operation.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage and effectively prioritize numerous complicated issues with attention to detail and good time management.

* Must have excellent organizational, analytical and writing skills.

* Customer service mentality, highly motivated and a self-starter.

* Proficient in Microsoft applications including: Excel, Word and Outlook.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, one-to-two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Intermediate experience in Microsoft Suite Products including: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

Some travel maybe required.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
