    <p class='job-description'>Job Description</p><P>A successful candidate must possess the requisite education and experience that will permit them to represent the Client's interests during the construction process on a verity of projects and collaborate with senior management executives within the company. The successful candidate must possess the interpersonal skills that will allow them to collaborate with the Client, project team, Design Consultants, construction managers, sub-contractors and vendors. </P> <P><U><STRONG>Primary Responsibilities:</STRONG></U> Provides Updates to the Project Construction Schedule Perform daily walk-thrus to ensure that all construction is in compliance with design specifications, is completed on schedule, adheres to budget and is built to quality standards. Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of a project or portion thereof. The ability to make decisions that consider budgeting and development goals of the company. Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors. Prepare daily construction reports, documents violations and recommends corrective actions as required. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. Formulate and executes project schedule. Administer document control procedures for all construction related documents. Manages the scope review process. Track and Negotiate change orders. Manages and updates project budget. Holds regular status meetings with project team. </P> <P><U><STRONG>Qualifications:</STRONG></U> Minimum (8) years of field experience with complex development and construction projects. A professional with excellent judgment and intuitive interpersonal skills. Knowledge of architectural, structural, and/or MEP systems. Ability to present information in public and write correspondence and reports. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, building codes, specifications, regulations. Construction/field experience and project management skills. Must be able to make decisions and judgments based on situational analysis. Exceptional communications skills - written and verbal. Computer skills for scheduling project tracking. Ability to create basic formulas for spreadsheet applications. Proficiency with Excel essential. Ability to perform calculations necessary to produce or interpret budgets, budget forecasts, discounts, percentages, costs per square foot, and other basic algebraic functions. A highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated and results-oriented individual. Degree in one of the following disciplines is preferred: Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering + Management, Architecture, other related fields or experience.</P> <P> <U><STRONG>Physical Demands:</STRONG></U>The characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
