Sr. Specialist, eLearning Development – (Horsham, PA)

Job Summary:

Designs and develops eLearning materials for internal staff and external clients on company products and applications.

Job Responsibilities:

* Independently designs, develops, and programs eLearning content using judgement regarding important features, layout, length, scope, etc.

* Analyzes and evaluates available training material and collaborates with subject matter experts, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to facilitate eLearning content and design.

* Identifies areas for improvement and make recommendations to increase the quality and effectiveness of eLearning content, presentation and delivery-based on user feedback and industry research in the areas of adult leaning methodology and the delivery of cutting edge web-based training.

* Reports status of eLearning course/project development and adherence on regularly scheduled intervals to be used by management to determine-department direction.

* Uses own discretion to develop and accurately project a timeline to management for eLearning content design and development-based upon many factors including software complexity, number of features, target audience, etc.

* Independently investigates sources for developing eLearning content and design as needed.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Instructional design or education/learning, human resource development, business management, or similar degree.

* 3 plus years of experience in instructional design, training, or relative experience.

* Proficiency with a recent version of Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with recent versions of Adobe Captivate and Photoshop products.

Desired Qualifications:

* Adult learning and curriculum development certifications preferred.
