Description:The Senior Business Intelligence Systems Manager is responsible for managing the staff and resources of the Business Unit Support team including project management support and analysis covering the areas of Sales, Distribution and Production, Responsible for coordination and delivery of training to the field based on requirements in the business. This position can be located in either Horsham, PA or Islandia, NY. Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage Business Unit Support staff by reviewing, approving and allocating work and work assignments among staff.Provide leadership to the team for day to day support to Business Unit operations through training and problem management related to Sales System Application technologies. Make recommendations for procedures and controls for problem prevention.Coordinate and work with the Business Intelligence Solutions groups to research and identify causes of interruptions to the business using established processes and procedures. Recommend workarounds, bug fixes and appropriate enhancements to supported systems and technologies.Help identify, evaluate and determine the training needs in the business on all supported applications and systems. As necessary, provide onsite training and follow-up as needed.Responsible for Bakery, Logistics and Sales Product Sourcing, Holiday Process, Product Optimization, Order Schedules, Support implementations in the field of new applications and new system technology. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: Experience and SkillsExtensive knowledge of the business as well as processed and applications used. Over 8 years of experience in customer support using business applications and interfacing with Information Technology support, and over 3 years of experience in application support and project management within a complex information systems environment and at least 5 years of experience in managing, directing and supervising staff.Strong oral and written communications, interpersonal relations, and organizational skills. Ability to display tact and diplomacy when assisting customers, coworkers, consultants and vendors. Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple, concurrent and conflicting priorities and deadlines. Strong background in the use and/or support of applications used throughout BBU including but not limited to sales and distribution systems.
