Serves as the Assistant Manager for the Security Officers acting as an instrument of corporate policy in the execution of the CFI, Inc. Loss Prevention and Safety Programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluate the performance of each officer
Inspects Security personnel uniforms for neatness and compliance of grooming standards
Prepare daily work assignments for line personnel
Issue and account for equipment provided for line personnel in the performance of their duties
Insure subordinates perform their duties in accordance with corporate policies and state law regulating
the activities of the security officers
Supervise and or conduct incident investigations as required by policy
Assist Security Manager with hiring and screening team members
Assist Security Manager with implementation and management of government mandated safety and
security programs, ( such as blood borne pathogen and hazardous communications training)
Assist Security Manager with organization and management of all department generated records
Assist Security Manager with daily procedures and responsibilities for Safety & Security personnel.
Conduct routine safety and security inspections and administer an on-going safety inspection program.
Write detailed and accurate reports
Conduct routine safety and security inspections
Maintain individual activity records
Inspect the daily assignments completed by line Officers
Perform the duties of subordinate officers as required
Administer the field training for new officers
Directly supervises Security Officers, Lost & Found, Security Dispatchers. Carries out supervisory
responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities
include assisting in the interview and hiring process; training, planning, assigning, and directing work;
appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to
- ne year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,
and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak
effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,
percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where
- nly limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written,

Security D license. AED, CPR and First Aid Response training preferred
