JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Planner's objective is to support the activity of the maintenance team, maintenance database and inventory systems. The Maintenance Planner also plans new work to ensure proper resources, equipment and parts are available to complete requested work in a timely manner.

DESCRIPTION (RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES):

* Supports daily operations through communications with Operators, Resources, and Mechanics

* Communicates, coaches and trains employees to continuously improve team's ability to perform SAP maintenance functions

* Develop strong working relationships with Vendors to ensure highest quality parts at the best price are purchased

* Aggressively acquires part delivery information and updates Work Orders to fit production schedule

* Maintains and compiles all factory Maintenance KPI's

* Works with accounts payable regarding suppliers and vendor invoices

* Organizes and maintains the Vendor Managed Inventory and Stage shelves

* Performs cycle counts of the store room

* Conducts Service Level meetings to determine if a new item needs to be kept in store room

* Assists in determining min/max for parts in store room

* Lead the daily PDR ( Plan Do Review ) meeting for each department/area of the factory

* Work with all Teams to schedule maintenance tasks for the facility

* Perform PM audits of equipment to ensure tasks are being carried out as written in the PM

* Continuously reviews and updates the PM plans to ensure reliability of the factory

* Leads PM pre-brief and Post Debrief for each line PM to ensure PM completion is at or above goal

* Actively participates as a member of the PM Pillar and MWG

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum of five years' experience in an industrialized environment; and/or equivalent combination of experience/education

* Demonstrated maintenance & technical skills: Mechanical | Electrical | Hydraulic | Pneumatic | PLC

* Analytical problem solving skills

* Technical writing

* Ability to read / interpret technical manuals & prints

* Effective communication skills

* CMMS/MP2 (AMM) maintenance system

* Stoppage Analysis Module (SAM) and/or Efficiency Improvement Tool (EIT)

* Continuous Improvement methods

* Minimum of 1-2 years experience SAP maintenance systems

* TPM / PM / FI

* Computer skills, including computerized maintenance management systems and working knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Preferred two years further education or equivalent degree

* Must have excellent all-around maintenance systems skills

* Experience in areas such as industrial electricity, mechanical power transmission and fluid piping systems preferred

* Must have good troubleshooting and decision making skills

* Must be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment

* Must be able to successfully handle multiple priorities

* Must be highly motivated & actively demonstrate a sense of urgency toward the completion of activities, tasks and goals

* Hours are flexible; some weekends required
