Position Summary

As a Business Analyst, you will play an integral role within FMS by working across many departments to gather, process, and analyze data to make key business decisions. It will be critical to analyze data received from multiple sources including internal databases, departmental managers, and customers to help build a strategy that will have a profound impact on the growth path of the organization. It will be important to be creative in your thought process and clearly articulate your ideas and results to various stakeholders throughout the business. A strong work ethic, relentless pursuit of finding critical data/information, and a strong desire to be part of the solution are all characteristics that will enable success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Help drive a data driven decision making approach within the business

* Look for new and innovative ways to analyze information to drive business growth

* Data analytics

* Structure and manipulate data from external and internal sources such that the data can be analyzed in meaningful ways

* Use external data sources to identify market growth opportunities

* Analyze internal data to identify areas for improvement or continued success

* Evaluating business processes

* Identifying areas for improvement in all departments

* Developing and implementing solutions (ensuring solutions meet business needs)

* Leading ongoing reviews of and evaluation of process changes

* Communication & Documentation

* Working closely internal and external stakeholders in all facets of the business

* Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings

* Documenting action items/tasks/key deliverables

* Documenting and effectively communicating the results/findings

* Project management

* Develop project objectives and plans

* Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements

* Monitoring project performance

* Identify roadblock or areas of concern to FMS leadership team (as early as possible)

* Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects

Candidate Experience and Qualifications

* Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills

* Advanced programming and documentation skills

* Extensive experience manipulating data in Excel

* Competency in other Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

* A track record of following through on commitments

* Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

* The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions

* Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

* University or College degree (4 year program)
