Credentialed Medical Assistant - Hillsboro

Providence is calling a Credentialed Medical Assistant to Providence Medical Group Hillsboro in Hillsboro, OR.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experience certified MA who thrives in a fast-paced setting, likes participating in procedures and is comfortable giving injections and doing blood draws.

The schedule will be 4 days a week Monday through Friday with every Wednesday off. It will be 10 hour shifts that will rotate between:

* 7:00am - 5:30pm

* 7:30am - 6:00pm

In this position, you will:

* Work closely with a team of staff including physicians and advanced level providers to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care.

* Assist with exams and procedures, administer medications, and perform tests under the supervision of a licensed medical provider.

CMA, Certified Medical Assistant, C.M.A.

Required qualifications for this position include:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Credentialing through a nationally recognized Medical Assistant program such as Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or National Association for Healthcare Professionals (NAHP)

* If not currently credentialed, this position will require successfully obtaining Medical Assistant Certification within 60 days from date of hire

* Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for the Healthcare Provider

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

* Some college

* 6 months of recent experience working as a medical assistant
