We are searching for a Consumer Lending Data Analyst II to research and analyze data in order to make strategic business recommendations. In this role, you will perform competitor research to enhance our product strategy and direction. Having 3 years' experience in a complex analyst role will help you succeed in this role. Additionally, having an understating of lending principals and risk metrics will help the candidate be successful.

Job Duties:

  • Create regular and ad-hoc reports by querying relational databases
  • Uncover actionable insights for increased product performance
  • Analyze and interpret data as it relates to market factors, competitor information and credit union objectives and make recommendations to leadership for improvement
  • Assess, rationalize, design and report success metrics for multiple departments within Consumer Lending
  • Performs ongoing analysis to enhance revenues and mitigate losses for the credit union
  • Utilize trend analysis and business case pro-formas along with ad-hoc analysis as necessary to drive performance
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic planning sessions

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an analytical role including querying relational databases and advanced reporting methodologies
  • Experience using, writing or manipulating R/Python or other similar coding language
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction
  • Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines
  • Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and documentation
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
  • Ability to translate needs of users and external entities into practical projects, tasks or reports
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logically
  • Familiarity with visual reporting tools (such as Tableau, MS Power BI) is preferred
  • Knowledge of project life cycle and knowledge of process change methodologies
  • Working knowledge of CRM software such as Salesforce as well as credit union operating systems
  • Advanced SQL skills (such as MS SQL, Oracle, Sybase)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
