Responsibilities

The Inside Geo Sales Representative will be responsible for reviewing/uncovering opportunities, working closely with our Geo Specialists, sales reps, and in-house staff to provide support for current and new customers, and to promote geo sales growth. The Geo Sales Rep is a primary point of contact for geo sales opportunities, communicating with the geo specialists, field sales reps, and external customers over the phone, via e-mail, or through Chatter (Salesforce CRM). The Inside Geo Sales Rep. will prepare new quotations or revisions, manage and facilitate pricing requests, perform contact management/maintenance, and provide product specs and certifications as required.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

* Complete generic product certifications

* Work with manufacturers to obtain specific roll certifications

* Assist Geo Specialists and field sales with product specs. and pricing.Review specs provided by geo specialist and field sales team and recommend correct products.

* Coordinate with the Geo sales team to generate quotes for geosynthetics opportunities after reviewing, bid tabs, website leads, and other requests

* Recommend pricing strategy for Geo products

* Identify new opportunities for potential customers/distributors through creative and thorough search methodsContact sales leads, identify their geo needs, provide product info, provide pricing, and generate sales.

* Using sales reports, identify existing customers that have not made a purchase in a while, contact such customers and identify a need for orders.

* Develop an understanding of regional territory dynamics (i.e. customer relationships, pricing, competition, product design, etc.) for each of our product types: Non-Wovens, Woven, geogrids, and erosion control

* Build rapport with the geo specialist team and field sales team and provide Salesforce support

* Manage Salesforce project tracking for Geo project opportunities

* Produce/deliver quotes for Geo related projects within Salesforce, confirm the accuracy with the geo specialists, the sales reps, and internal staff

* Manage (add/delete/update) the Salesforce projects and modify existing quotes with different quantities, products, customers

Educational Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Preferred Experience:

* Sales or specification of civil construction products

* Inside Sales (2+ years)

* Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)

* Salesforce CRM software

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours per dayThe employee will be interacting with co-workers and other departments on a daily basis and must maintain a professional appearance.Employee will be communicating with people all day so they must have clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
