Job Overview

This role is critical to monitoring the quality of incoming, in-process, and outgoing product.

Responsibilities

* Perform dock audits (final inspection), including functional tests and visual inspection.

* Perform inspection on incoming product, including measurements and visual inspection.

* Perform in-process inspection at certain key steps in the manufacturing process.

* Document inspection results in the established locations (paper files, computer database, etc.).

* Initiate quarantine of non-conforming material.

* Participate in cross-functional review (disposition) of materials in question.

* General warehousing and inventory management functions as needed to support materials department.

* Occasional operation of materials handling equipment (Forklift, electric and manual pallet jack)

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

* Attached resume required

* Manufacturing or remanufacturing Setting experience preferred

* Prefer experience with electronics

* High attention to detail

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Basic computer skills (e-mail, data entry, etc.) Experience in a manufacturing or remanufacturing environment; electronics preferred

* Previous experience with quality and/or inspection

* Training or certification to IPC standards (i.e. 600, 610, 620)

* Experience using Microsoft Excel and Access
