Intern-Social Media

The Social Media and Content Intern at K12 will learn about social media and content marketing best practices.

What you'll do:

* Use social media and listening tools.

* Use Word Press content management system to update blogs and website content.

* Post responses to customer inquiries on K12's social media channels.

* Perform content/social audits.

* Author blogs and social posts.

* Work with other teams in marketing to create content that is compelling.

* Stay up to date with the latest trends in social and content marketing.

* Work with the on-site Social Media Manager to create and implement campaigns.

* Provide support to our marketing team at live and online events.

Requirements

Requirements:

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field of study.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills/ not afraid to be on camera.

* In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and Snapchat.

* Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.

* Basic knowledge of Social apps.

* Comfortable working with creative, social media, marketing strategy and project management teams.
