FSO

The FSO will supervise and direct security measures necessary for implementing the provisions of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other related government requirements for classified information, personnel security, physical security, information security and program security.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Establish effective and comprehensive industrial, physical, administrative, information, communications, and IT security programs in accordance with the NISPOM

* Provide safeguarding of personnel, facilities, assets, equipment and classified information and materials; and unclassified sensitive, technological data and information.

* Administer and coordinate security program and other security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.

* Provide security support services to include electronic security, classified document control, material destruction, security container (safe) tracking, identification services, key and keycard control, analyses of security, personnel security support and other related duties.

* Maintain liaison with outside agencies and act as liaison with customer's management and government agencies in all security matters.

* Provides analysis, evaluation, and recommendations designed to promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in the customer's security program.

* Reviews and evaluates customer's programs and operations to determine adherence to policies and procedures.

* Analyze customer's requirements regarding applicable security disciplines (physical, personnel, information, communications, and computer). Evaluates customer's security policy and provide recommendations to customer's supervisors.

* Assesses policy, program, and project feasibility. Formulates short-and-long term goals and objectives and integrate them into a strategic plan. Structure and organize work. Anticipates, identifies, diagnoses, and consults potential or actual problem areas relating to program implementation and goal achievement.

* Provides content for and is able to write to security requirements in a given proposal

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Security Administration, Criminal Justice, Industrial Security Management or other related field required an10 years of relative experience.

* 7 years' experience conducting investigations.

* Solid communications skills.

* Ability to influence customer in security issues.

* Ability to perform risk analysis and assessment.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

* Must have active TS/SCI full Scope Poly Clearance required or be full Scope Poly eligible.
