Job Description

CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE POSITION SUMMARY:

Answer all customercare telephone calls and inquiries. Process and administer all customer care related paper work andinformation. Maintain customer care records and support department activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

* Receiveand answer homeowner inquiries, via telephone or email in a timely manner

* Processhomeowner check requests

* Maintaincustomer care work authorization's and back charges

* Getsupervisor approval on all customer care work authorizations and invoices.

* Processand distribute weekly / monthly Customer Care reports

* Developand/or maintain a filing system for documents that permits quick access to allprevious correspondence, and related data

* Maintaininventory of customer care forms, and new home celebration supplies

* Orderoffice supplies for the Customer Care Department and Customer Care Representatives

* Updateand distribute after hours on call personnel/assignments

* Supportcustomer care and/or construction staff as needed

* Performall other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND ADDITIONALREQUIREMENTS:

* Two(2) years customer service experience, preferably with a homebuilder

* Highschool diploma or GED required

* Musthave strong Word, Excel and organizational skills

* Minimum50 WPM. Must be accurate for data entry

* Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills

* Validdriver's license

* Mustpossess professional attitude to represent company in a positive manner

* Maintainregular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required

* Understandand follow work rules and procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This is primarily asedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend,stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies and materials weighing 25pounds or less. Finger dexterityrequired to operate a computer keyboard, calculator and telephone equipment. May operate a motor vehicle.
