Sr. Technical Support


This position is responsible to independently provide various technical Siemens and Fanuc support and occasional service requirements on company manufactured equipment.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

* Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

* Troubleshoot/Diagnose machine including Siemens, Fanuc , G&L CNC controls and drives in accordance with control or drive manufacturer instructions.

* Perform support duties following verbal or written instructions given by Technical Support Manager, Service Coordinator, or Service Manager, or using information contained in drawings, service documentation, or other user documentation.

* Work independently with engineering, vendors, and others as necessary to assist customers.

* Review and validate engineered instructions

* Notify and offer possible solutions to Engineering when deviations from specifications occur, or when problems are encountered.

* Instruct customers and service personnel how to operate, maintain, and repair machines and equipment, emphasizing necessary safety precautions.

* Work with engineering to create and generate concepts and designs for the improvement and development of company products.

* Documents service calls and attach's them in SAP

* Document and update procedures to assist employees / customers with Siemens, Fanuc and G& L controls.

* Has the ability to work with and interact with other people on a routine basis.

* Provide on-call weekend support one weekend a month .


* Associate's degree or equivalent.

* Ability to effectively communicate with customers, service personnel, and management, in order to diagnose, troubleshoot, and direct personnel to repair company products.

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals and technical procedures.

* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.

Expérience requise


Four to ten years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
