We currently provide healthcare services in 16 states with more than 7,000 employees.

We are seeking 2 full-time Data Analysts to work with us in the Pennsylvania Department of Health, 37.5/hours/week in Harrisburg, PA. Your working title will the: Sr. Medical Economist. Work in close collaboration with team members to provide medical data relative to services under the CDC federal grant requirements. Responsible for program reporting including quality management data, data collection, review and reports.


* Ability to work effectively with federal funders, funded grantees/vendors/providers.

* Master's degree preferred; or Bachelor's plus 3+ years broad base medical economic analyses.

* Work effectively as both a team member and independently.

* Demonstrate strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL knowledge

* Preference to BASE SAS programming experience (Commonwealth program)

* Medical Data extraction with Medicare/Medicaid

* Follow established HIPAA confidentiality guidelines at all times; Maintain confidentiality of Medicare/Medicaid patient information.

* Demonstrate proficient data ETL skills.

* Use MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze data and present reports.

* Present ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.

* Detail oriented with good organizational skills.

* Learn use of Ryan White CAREWare, HRSA Electric Handbook, EvaluationWeb, PA-NEDSS, and other agency database and/or reporting systems.

* Ability to balance work successfully between multiple projects and responsibilities.

Preferred Experience:

Excellent skills working with MS Office software, in particular Excel and Access

Proficient in the use of One Note and Sharepoint

SQL proficient

Proficiency in BASE SAS (or SAS Enterprise Guide)

Experience with CAREWare; and/or WebEx

Experience working in the medical industry
