Basic Machine (x-ray) Operator II - Haines City - Urgent Care

The Basic Machine Operator II - Urgent Care supports urgent care offices with patient x-ray services. Assists physicians with patient examination, procedures and treatment. This position supports high volume and/or specialty providers. Responsible for patient histories, routine lab procedures and preparation of specimens for transport to the lab. Follows up on test orders and reports results to the physician and patient, provides and maintains patient education materials, maintains medical equipment, inventories clinical and drug supplies. May obtain clinical, financial and demographic information. Create and maintain patient charts. File charts and reports. Assists with training and mentoring new Basic Machine Operators. Performs other duties as assigned.

Previous Urgent Care experience is a plus. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred, but not required.

The clinic hours for this BayCare Urgent Care office are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. The Work Schedule for this position is a twelve (12) hour shift 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (or until last patient leaves) Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (or until last patient leaves) on Saturday and Sunday (weekend pay differential may apply) with a Two Days On, then Two Days off Rotation. This will include every other weekend.
