LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

About the Job:

We are seeking to hire an laboratory technician for full time employment in a large-scale culture media manufacturing facility. Candidate will be involved in a wide range of process tasks from maintaining an ISO certified cleanroom to final product.

Previous experience with culture media is desirable, as well as experience with quality control analysis. The candidate must have a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and be willingness to perform all tasks required to maintain cleanroom environment. Experience in monitoring and validation of laboratory equipment, and familiarity with maintaining ISO compliance, is desirable.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of aseptic technique
  • Basic knowledge of routine laboratory equipment (pH meters, incubators, osmometer)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, and proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
  • Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences or related field
