Maintains days outstanding at or below GHS goals. Develops, implements, and manages processes, procedures and personnel in assigned area(s) of responsibility to ensure timely, accurate and professional resolution of all GHS patient accounts and third party claims. Maintains public relations with patients and third party payers in accordance with GHS Service Excellence.
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of employees that may include final budget authority, hire/termination/disciplinary authority, performance appraisal responsibility. Job will be considered a member of the management staff with direct reports..
High School diploma or equivalent
3 years - Requires either one of the following: 6 years experience in hospital admissions, billing or credit/collections with at least 2 years at the lead level- OR 3 years in a service related management role such as customer service, banking or finance to include supervising non-exempt employees with preference given to candidates with experience in hospital admissions, billing or credit/collections.
Specific Acceptable Credentials (if applicable)
In lieu of the Above Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years at a lead level eperience will substitute for the above requirement of 6 years experience in hospital admissions and the 2 years at lead level or the 3 years in a management role.
Other Required Experience
BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance or related field - Preferred
