Position Overview

The Order Editor will be responsible for reviewing and accurately modifying an order in Hubbell’s entry system (SAP and HUE). The Order Editor will work closely with Customer Service, Engineering, Agencies, Quotations, and other internal departments to ensure we achieve accuracy of sales orders and timely processing. The environment is fast-paced, and requires an individual who can adapt to fluid situations to satisfy the customer.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and route sales orders according to protocol
  • Review, modify, and edit orders timely and accurately
  • Modify, monitor, and follow-up on unclear order information and revising orders once clarified and complete
  • File according to procedure to remain consistent
  • Modification of sales orders according to customer input
  • Attend product training regularly to increase effectiveness and understanding
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • Proficiency in use of computers and Hubbell software, including SAP
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to meet deadlines and desired turnaround times
  • Detail oriented, and execute order entry and issue resolution from start to finish in the allotted time-frame
