Job Duties

The Greene County Summer camp Residence Assistants RAs (looking for one male and one female RA) will assist the Camp Director and Assistant Director and be responsible for the evening and overnight supervision of approximately 20 high school sophomores and juniors from Greene County, from approximately 4 PM to 8 AM the following day. Participants in the camp will live in an ECU residence hall for four days, eat meals in the dining hall, and carry out research projects in science, engineering and technology during the day. RAs will each have their own room in the residence hall for the three nights of the program (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights Jun 26-28). Must agree to training including child abuse prevention. There will be some training orientation days. This is NOT a regular RA position at ECU; this is assisting Camp Director & Assistant Dir and working evening/overnight.

Minimum Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

Preferred qualifications include experience with youth programs, experience in an educational setting, experience in residential housing settings. First aid/CPR preferred.
