Client Care Representative (CCR)

Client Service - Grayslake, IL - Full Time

Full time 32-36+ hours a week

Must be available to work late afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays

  • flexible scheduling for students & parents w/generally 4 shifts for 9 hours (3-4pm to 12-1am), start time can be flexible, weekends needed
  • will train with customer service experience
  • shift differential for weekends, double pay on holidays
  • full benefits package w/3 weeks PTO the first year!!!

Client Care Representative or CCR/Vet Asst

Responsibilities:

Promote company vision, mission and core values. Plays a positive and active role in fostering team relationships, leads by example and communicates effectively. Must be flexible, cooperative, dependable, responsible, and have good time-management skills.

This position requires you to be self-motivated and be able to differentiate between major and minor issues as they relate to clients and patients. Candidate must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Key Functions for Client Care:

  • greeting and welcoming clients
  • answering the phones
  • screening and directing calls to other staff members
  • providing basic information to callers
  • appointment scheduling
  • filing, scanning, and emailing documentation
  • computer data entry and basic invoicing
  • handling of payment transactions
  • keeping the reception & lobby area tidy and well maintained

Additional essential functions for Veterinary Assistant (exp preferred, will train if interested):

  • animal restraint
  • patient care & proper hygiene
  • accurate, timely record keeping

Qualifications for either position:

  • Work well under pressure and during high levels of stress
  • Must possess strong customer service skills in person and on the phone
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer skills for multitasking different programs
  • Ability to show compassion and empathy in appropriate situations
  • Attention to detail and follow through is a must
  • Self-motivated and able to work well as an essential team member
  • Able to handle multiple tasks at a time & prioritize effectively
  • Able to handle multiple phone lines at a time
