IT System Administrator Role:
Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, proprietary software, applications, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities according to the Company initiative
Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that maintain solid efficiencies for employee base, both local and remote
Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights
Nurture reliable IT operations that’s always up and running
Partner with internal staff and external vendors and partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
Perform daily employee help desk tasks. Assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
Respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.
Respond to software issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain Microsoft platform and cloud computing; OneDrive, SharePoint
Maintain internal corporate and design infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, printers, cell phones, peripherals, Virus and security updates; help support internet, Sharepoint intranet, LANs, WANs, VPN solution, Mitel Solutions, and other network segments
IT System Administrator Background Profile:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science a plus
4-5 Years Proven, relevant work experience in similar IT role
Knowledge Microsoft Systems
Able to lift at least 50 lbs
Some travel, 25%, Texas
Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, recovery & continuity procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, content delivery, and website management
Experience in project management and cloud computing with Microsoft products, MS 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Azure
Remote replication and VPN access
Extensively detailed and able to maintain all processes and system updates with documentation- both timely and accurately
Exceptional staff service, with patients and flexibility
Not a management role
Must work autonomously and as a part of the IT Department Team
Achieve and exceed deadlines with heavy multitasking
Lead initiatives and take ownership and responsibility for assigned role
Ability to procure software and hardware and other assigned solutions; convey findings to multiple departmental managers for discussion and approvals
