  • Provide strategy and focused sales forecast for assigned product line
  • Identify and report market availability and true volume of product
  • Understand customer’s process, along with their current goals and future needs, in order to provide sales and technical assistance to the sales team
  • Recommend product solutions, build proposals, and develop supporting material, including videos, promotional materials, samples, case studies, machine references, and competitive comparison information
  • Perform cost studies to determine R.O.I. for discussions with potential customers
  • Manage order progress with the sales team to develop the next steps to close the order
  • Drive sales opportunities, open proposals and manage projected close dates and inventory machine holds
  • Ensure all orders and internal sales notes are complete and have the appropriate options and machine solution provided, ensuring delivery and install commitments can be kept
  • Track competitor activities and report new product offerings, pricing, and competitive features to the Product Manager and Regional Sales
  • Provide lost order reports, analyze trends, and work with regional Director, Sales Manager, and Service Manager to develop proactive action plans
  • Provide the sales team with product sales training sessions and track progress
  • Keep field service, sales, and technical support abreast of new machine features and developments
  • Ensure the AML and our website contains up-to-date sales information
  • Provide technical expertise and support for regional demonstrations and/or trade shows
  • Drive Sales Team and Stiles University to create, develop, and execute learning and open house events
  • Work with Sales Team to set strategy for trade shows and events to ensure follow up
  • Review and suggest technical documentation updates and changes for Stiles University classes
  • Report product improvements and innovation ideas to Product Manager based on feedback from regional customers, sales, and service.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience in the industrial equipment sector
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Technical sales or product management experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD


  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative
  • Excellent problem-solving skill
