Provides support to Commercial Loan department by performing a wide array of duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Gathers information to prepare loan documentation for closing.

Obtains and reviews necessary documents such as a) property title commitments, b) identity papers, c) lien searches, d) flood determinations, e) surveys, f) environmental, g) appraisals, and (f) regulatory disclosures.

Correspond with customers via email and telephone calls resolving customer inquiries.

Prepare wire transfer requests, verify funds, obtains proper authority and general follow through.

Disbursing funds at close including initial loan advance, submitting for payment of invoices and other transactions.

Assists loan officers on resolving and clearing loan file exceptions.

Works in conjunction with pre-close documentation review to insure loans are closed with accurate and appropriate documentation.

Organize and maintains electronic filing system.

Greet customers and direct to appropriate area or person.

Coordinates and arranges meetings for closings.

Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.

Other duties, projects and responsibilities as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic knowledge of typing and computer programs such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook desirable. Excellent customer service/phone skills and attention to detail required.


Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


Ability to work in an office environment which may include many hours of computer and phone usage. Reasonable accommodations may be made to ensure individuals with disabilities can perform the essential functions.
