Position Title: Customer Service Expeditor
Wage: $22.00 - $26.00/hour
A Customer Service Expeditor job in Germantown, WI is available through QPS Employment. To be considered for this position a demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to prioritize, plan and organize effectively is required. This position supports expedites and intervenes on non-standard-sized orders, advising best-available shipping dates to the Customer Care Specialist. Additionally, this position escalates critical delivery issues to management. The salary for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hour.
Customer Service Expeditor job responsibilities include:
- Follow up on customer emergencies such as vehicle/line downs and surprise orders that disrupt regular forecasting and deliveries.
- Support expedites and intervene on non-standard-sized orders, advising best-available shipping dates to the Customer Care Specialist
- Work with Supply Chain to obtain revised ship dates on past due orders; update dates in ERP
- Escalate critical delivery issues to management
- Communicate expedite information to Customer Care Specialists and Sales on back orders and expedites based on inputs from Materials on component lead times and scheduling
- Attend back order meetings
- Create and send out weekly open order/expedite reports
- High School Diploma or GED
- Background in customer service
- Must be professional in dealings with customers, objective, and understands the concepts of emotional intelligence.
- Good organization skills; diligent in follow-ups and passionate about problem solving
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service orientation and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency
- Strong Excel skills and proficient with other Microsoft programs (including Outlook, Word & PowerPoint)
