One of the largest independent insurance agencies in New England is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for the Personal Lines Department.

This position is an excellent opportunity for a sales-focused individual to couple their sales and customer service skills.

Position Responsibilities

Gather information on policy holders to determine rate quotes.

Place phone calls to new prospects and existing clients for other lines of business and forward gathered information to the Sales Department.

Check policies prior to renewal for eligibility of new credits.

Accurately rate and quote new and renewal risks and quote changes upon request.

Accurately prepare and process binders, endorsement requests, upon client request.

Promptly submit all requests to bind coverage or issue policies to companies.

Review Company produced policies, binders, endorsements, etc. for accuracy.

Review all items on monthly expiration lists.

Review and explain client billing.

Seek to build and repair client relationships where and when issues arise.

Complete applications, inspections and risk management activities, as requested.

Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned by Management.

Position Requirements

A minimum of three years personal lines insurance experience required.

Currently licensed or willing to obtain licensure upon hire.

Candidates must be professional, articulate and have excellent computer skills.

Knowledge of Applied EPIC preferred.
