Hiring $11/hr

Full Time, Part Time and On-Call Positions Available

We are seeking full-time and part-time staff to support us in the Johnson County areas serving individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness and brain injuries.

Responsibilities/Duties:

This position provides services to people with a broad array of disabilities, whether that be behavioral, physical, or mental health through assistance with activities of daily living, such as:

  • Errands to shopping or activities
  • Transporting to medical appointments
  • Enjoying recreational outings together
  • Preparing meals
  • Assisting with medication administration
  • Personal hygiene and grooming
  • Bathing and toileting
  • Teaching strategies to live as independently as possible

Qualifications:

What we require of you:

Must be at least 18 years of ageAble to pass written interview (no GED or high school diploma required)Valid driver's license in good standingAccess to a registered vehicle with proof of auto insuranceSuccessful clearance of local and/or state background checks Must be able to lift 25 poundsCompassionate approachReliable, responsible attitude

Initial Training Requirement--Paid Training:

Approximately 40 hours of mandatory paid training sessions offered to new employees prior to providing care to individuals.
