Job Description

Role Summary: The Pricing Analyst is responsible for the quoting process. This includes the development of Internal Cost Breakdown Models. And it includes development of the Customer Quote and formal submission into the customer-specific supplier interface system. The position reports to the Program Manager. This position will rarely travel.

Primary Responsibilities:

Development of Cost Breakdown Models

- Requires Detailed Breakdown of Resin, Molding Process, Decoration Process, Sub-Components, Logistics, Packaging and Assembly

- Requires highly accurate calculation of MM, VM, OI

Development of Customer Quotes (OEM and Tiers)

- Strategic decision-making

- Submission in Customer Specific format

- Justification of change-points in pricing

- JOEM’s and European OEM's Support Cross-Functional Quote Review Meetings - Communicate quoting assumptions - Communicate quoting options

Types of Quotes

- Sourcing Quotes

- Tooling Breakdown submissions

- Pricing Quotes

- Engineering Change Quotes

Develop Pricing for New Innovative Projects

- Support the strategic decision making for development projects

- Confirm financial assumptions as the project progresses

Price Reduction Initiatives

- Calculation and confirmation of Sales - Development of Cost Reduction Proposals - Calculation of Supplier Costs and Impact

Piece Price Purchase Orders:

- Receipt from Customer OEM’s and Tiers

- Confirmation of accuracy to pricing history logs

- Approve for Production Manufacturing

- Maintain file and tracking

Tooling Purchase Orders:

- Receipt from Customer: OEM’s and Tiers

- Confirmation of accuracy to pricing history logs

- Approve for Tooling Team

- Submit Asset Tag/Number detail for tracking

- Maintain file and tracking

Material Pricing:

- Tracking resin production cost changes

USMCA requirements and customer submissions:

- Production and Service

- Customer specific interface for submission

CAFE Report:

- Production and Service

- Customer specific interface for submissions

COO Submissions:

- Production and Service

- Customer specific interface for submissions

American Automobile Labeling Act (AALA):

- Production and Service

- Customer specific interface for submissions

Tooling Budgeting

- New Tooling

- Capacity Tooling

- Tooling Modifications

Quoting Packaging

- Quoting for Customers OEM and Tiers for New Programs, Production Program volume changes, and Quoting Service Projects

- Receive Packaging PO's with confirmation of accuracy to pricing history logs and approval for Production Team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Accounting or Finance
  • 2-5 years financial analysis experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Prior experience working with JOEM (Toyota, Nissan, Honda, etc) quoting systems.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills including the ability to meet demanding and evolving deadlines
  • Ability to effectively articulate insights and recommended actions based on data
  • Prior experience building pricing models or analyzing promotional programs is beneficial
  • Highly motivated and detailed-oriented
