The Koddi product team is looking for a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to lead in the design of world-class, engaging user experiences for our products. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual should excel at simplifying the complex and delivering “Don’t Make Me Think” interfaces. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment, a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies, and enterprise software.

Who you are…

  • You have 5+ years of involvement in user experience design with enterprise web applications
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field
  • You have the ability to understand functional user stories to refine and enhance solutions within the team
  • You have excellent conceptualization and visual communication abilities
  • You have a strong working knowledge of Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills clearly and well
  • You are comfortable working with remote product and engineering teams
  • You have an understanding of common software project management practices and Agile development
  • You have a solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns
  • You are detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple work streams
  • You’re a confident professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who is not afraid to ask “why?” and provide a solution
  • You have great attention to design principles including graphic design, layout, typography, and color
  • You’re self-motivated and results-oriented
  • You possess a strong passion for customers and for the value our product provides
  • You take smart risks and champion new ideas
  • Preferably, you have familiarity with digital analytics platforms like Doubleclick or Omniture
  • Preferably, you have experience conducting user research
  • You’re people-oriented, have a friendly demeanor, and a personable nature
  • You have the ability to learn quickly and on a continuous basis
  • You can demonstrate your ability to troubleshoot, but seek advice when appropriate
  • You are committed to quality and thoroughness

What you’ll do…

  • You’ll work in a collaborative and growing company
  • You’ll execute user experience, interaction, and visual design as a part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • You will consult and collaborate with team members and stakeholders on designs, requirements, and strategies
  • You’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to execute the product roadmap
  • You’ll produce wireframes, user flows, mockups, visual design comps, and interactive prototypes of your UX ideas
  • You will efficiently and intelligently iterate designs by adjusting to technical requirements, conducting usability testing, and incorporating findings into the design
  • You’ll keep up with and share your perspective on digital advertising and design trends
  • You’ll construct working prototypes as part of new product validation
  • You will successfully communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale, and the specifics of user-centered design process to stakeholders
