Ulterra continues to grow at a rapid pace and has become the Number 1 PDC bit manufacturer in North America and is in need of multiple Manual Machine Operators. As a Manual Machine Operator for Ulterra, based in our Fort Worth, TX plant, you will perform various plant functions to support the manufacturing of drill bits. The ideal candidate will combine prior experience operating manual machines and MIG welding. You will have a great work ethic, including excellent attendance, a desire to grow and the ability to use various hand or bench tools. A strong commitment to safety, able to work in a team environment and be a great problem solver will really make you a top candidate. Additionally, you will be able to communicate and understand work instructions in English and have at least a High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

  • Operating Manual Machines
  • Welding
  • Bit Finishing
  • Sandblasting
  • Deburring
  • Bit Assembly
  • OD Grinding
  • Ensure the work area and shop is clean and in good working order
  • Perform all tasks and procedures as instructed by bit documentation, safety policies, quality policies and management
